Southlands provides quality care to all its horses in a safe, pleasant, and workmanlike atmosphere.  We carry all insurances designed to protect property, staff, board members, horses and clients.  All our animal residents receive the finest quality hay, grain, and bedding.  The horses are turned out daily in board-fenced paddocks for as long as they desire or schedules allow.  Each horse is housed in a 12 x 12 partially rubber matted box stall with good air circulation.  Stalls are cleaned every day, including most holidays, and picked several times per day.  We are on a strict worming regimen with most horses on Strongid C.  Our supplements and nutrition programs are routinely monitored and are evaluated periodically by our vets.  Farrier and other specialized services such as chiropractic, energy balancing, massage, and acupuncture are available on a regular basis.
