Facilities

With the renovation and construction of the riding barn complex, Southlands is able to offer the highest quality boarding and training services to its clients.  Few riding schools are able to boast the wide variety of facilities offered at Southlands:  a large heated 80' x 160' Indoor Ring, a 150' x 250' Outdoor Ring, and a 70' x 200' Dressage Ring, all with the newest high tech footing, drainage and sprinkler systems;  grassy riding areas, cross country fences, miles of trails, indoor and outdoor wash stalls, 24 hours fire and security system.

Throughout its history, Southlands' extraordinary landscape has been open to the public.  Trails for hiking, bird watching and cross country skiing are made available whenever possible.  Since December 1987, a conservation easement donated to Scenic Hudson protects the farm so that it will remain forever green.
