9:00 a.m. Sharp

 

~Trophy & 6 ribbons in each class.  Champion and Reserve awarded in each Division.

~Hard hats & proper footwear required.  Disclaimer same as recognized horse shows.

~Entry fees are $15 per individual class unless otherwise noted.

Pre-entries accepted and encouraged.  $5.00 discount per division for pre-entries!

~$100 Stakes Classes in and Children/Adult Hunter & Equitation, if entries warrant.


***Schooling for Classes 1- 5 only until 8:45 A.M.***

Short Stirrup/Long Stirrup Equitation- Open to riders who have not yet shown over fences exceeding 18” in any horse show. Riders are not eligible for any other division except Pleasure. Division will be split by age if entries warrant.     

1.  S/S Equitation W/T.

2.  S/S Equitation W/T/C (Sitting trot permitted, only 8 to Canter at once).              

3-4.S/S Equitation O/F – Twice around - cross rails not to exceed 18”.

5.  S/S Pleasure – W/T/C.

***Schooling for Classes 1- 5 only until 8:45 A.M.***

Pre Short (Mini) Stirrup- Open to juniors 12 & under, not yet secure at the canter.            

6.  Pre S/S Equitation Flat - Walk/Trot  (Optional sitting trot. Martingales permitted).
7.  Pre S/S- W/T Pleasure                   
8.  Pre S/S Equitation Poles - once around - ground poles (4 poles, once around).

Pleasure – Open to horses and ponies.  No more than 8 to canter at once.             

9.  Pleasure Pairs- W/T
10. Pleasure- W/T/C  (May be asked to back, dismount, mount, extended trot)

11. Bridle Path Hack- W/T/C. (May be asked to hand gallop)

 

12.    Leadline - Open to children under 7 yrs old. To be run approx. Noon.
Entry Fee:  $10.00.

 

“Old Chicks” Division – Open to former students of Mrs. Dows.

13.     Students who have ridden in the last ten years.

14.     Students who have not ridden in the last ten years.

  

***Schooling for Classes 15-20***

Beginner  Hunter - Open to green horses, ponies or riders.  6-10 fences not to exceed 2’, trotting in corners not penalized. No restriction as to riders’ age or status.  Riders are not eligible for other divisions, except Pleasure.

16.  Beginner Hunter – O/F.               

17.  Beginner Hunter U/S - W/T/C. No more than 8 to canter at one time.

***Schooling for Classes 21-26***

Children’s/Adult Hunter - Open to all riders eligible for Children/Adult Hunters and will be split by age if entries warrant.  Ponies: 2’3”, Horses: 2’6”.  Horses to jump first.

22.  $100. Child/Adult Hunter Stakes Class- Min.10 entries or run as regular class.

23.  Child/Adult Hunter - U/S

 

Children’s/Adult Equitation -Open to riders who have not shown over fences exceeding 3’ in any show.  Fences generally 2’6”                              

24.  Child/Adult Equitation Flat - W/T/C

25.  $100. Child/Adult Equitation Stakes Class- Min.10 entries or run as regular class.

26.  Child/Adult Equitation- O/F.
