Tiny Riders (Levels I and II)
Ages 3 to 5
This is an excellent
way to introduce children 3 to 5 years of age to the fun of ponies and
riding. It's fun and safe. All sessions are on a leadline, with the children
able to try riding with more control as they progress. Only one pony is used
for a small group.
Level I
introduces the children to
the ponies, the farm and riding. Week one is a tour of the farm, instruction
on how to behave around the ponies, what they eat, where they live and the
riding equipment. Week two they learn how to groom and work safely around
the pony. Weeks three and four introduce the child to riding the pony. This
program will begin Tuesday, October 18th through November 8th, 9:30 - 10:15
a.m.
Level II
is for those children who have completed Level I. They learn more about
controlling the pony and the different parts of the pony and tack.
This program will begin Tuesday, November 15th through December 6th, 9:30 -
10:15 a.m.
Cost:
Both levels run in four week
sessions for $120 each. The classes are 45 minutes long and are limited to
five children. Parents are requested to stay on the grounds.
