Riders will be video taped riding the horse or pony they have been working with doing flat work, jumping through a gymnastic, and jumping a course of eight fences.

After your ride, there will be a viewing in the classroom with your instructor present. Enjoy a  hearty snack and the joy of seeing just what your instructor is always telling you to fix!

9:00 Lesson: This lesson will be geared towards those riders who wish to concentrate mostly on flat work. Levels can vary from those just mastering the posting trot to those wishing to view their half passes! Each rider will be video taped performing a flat test that will consist of walk/trot/canter (if applicable), etc. Videos will be viewed at 10:00

10:30 Lesson: Geared towards those riders who wish to see themselves walk/trot/canter and jump small cross rails. Each rider will be video taped performing a flat test, jumping a small gymnastic and jumping a course of no more than 18″. Videos will be viewed at 11:30

12:00 Lesson: geared towards the more advanced riders. Fence heights will vary for each rider, depending on what you jump in horse shows. Each rider will be video taped performing a flat test, jumping through a gymnastic and jumping a course. Videos will be viewed at 1:30

Theory Classes are open to all interested and are strongly encouraged for all students as an important supplement to your riding lessons. Each theory class concentrates on a different area of interest. Please let us know if you would like to see a specific topic covered…we are always looking for new ideas!

Cost of attendance is $25

February 27th 4:00 pm: What is Dressage? Understand the fundamentals of dressage and how to ride an Introductory Dressage Test! An invaluable lesson for all riders, regardless of level or discipline!

March 14th 9:00 am: Introduction to Horse Showing…from how to properly dress yourself and your horse, to handling those horse show nerves, to understanding just what the judge is looking for!

March 27th 4:00 pm: Learn how to Lunge…from the very basics to understanding how lunging can be used as a training tool to strengthen your horse!

April 17th 4:00 pm Learn how to Braid your horse’s mane and tail! Whether you’re brushing up on your skills or learning for the first time…a great way to make money throughout the show season!
