4H Program
Southlands is home to the Gentle Giants 4-H Program. 4-H is the youth component of the nationwide Cooperative Extension System that promotes the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of school-age youth. Gentle Giants is under the umbrella of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, who’s mission is to creative a supportive learning environment in which diverse youth and adults reach their fullest potential as capable, competent, caring citizens.
